The LG G-Slate, Latest Specs and Info. [UpDated]


Announced by T-Mobile and Manufacturer LG on 1.05.11 at CES. The G-Slate it was designed to beat the competition from the Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, the Eee Slate by Asus, and Motorola's new Xoom, all coming in the next few months. There are hints at a dual camera 3D recording and playback system but these reports are not verified. See the full spec list after the jump.

Officials from T-Mobile, well known providers of the largest 4G network currently available in the US, stress the importance of the android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system which was especially designed with larger screened mobile devices like the G-Slate in mind.

 
While the good folks at LG have been pretty quiet about the particulars of the G-Slate we do know that the G-slate boasts a 10 inch capacitive touch screen display and comes with an imptessive 32 gig storage memory. The G-Slate should be available mid second quarter, sometime after the release of the T-Mobile's other serious tablet the Dell Streak 7.
