Samsung Focus : Up to Date Specs and Observations

The Samsung focus is not a new handset. Released in November of last year by AT&T, the Focus's most evident difference is in its operating system. The Focus runs Windows Phone 7, and it runs it quite well. While the specs are nothing to write home about. A few things jump right out at the consumer when looking for a new phone.

The Super AMOLED screen is by far the most brilliant display available for smartphones today, And while many manufacturers are adopting the technology for their 2011 product lines there are only a handful on the market at the time of this writing.

Windows Phone 7. For dyed in the wool windows enthusiasts this OS is the mythical grail. On the Samsung Focus we find a smooth clear operating system for those of us who are searching for something that intuitively looks and works the same as our workstations, that provides the stability that Win Phone 7 has come to represent.

The Focus, in my opinion was released at a very opportune moment. It's next generation display and Xbox Live compatibility made it an early contender in today’s explosive smartphone market. AT&T offers this unit for a mere $99 to new subscribers in hopes to lure subscribers who routinely eschew Apple products
