Up to date Specs and Observations : Motorola Atrix 4G

The Motorola Atrix 4G coming soon from AT&T made a big impression at CES earlier this year. Built with the power user in mind, the Atrix spec list (after the jump) blows by most of the competition off the line. A full 1GB ram, Dual core Nvidia's Tegra 2 with 3D hardware and an 8 hour battery, It's a lot of meat.
As a matter of fact the only thing even slightly lacking in the Atrix 4G phone is a slightly smaller screen then its big faced brother Droid Bionic whose screen comes in at 4.3 “. Either way its at the head of the pack for power and there’s a reason.
 Here are the Raw Specs:

  • Operating System: Google Android 2.2 (Froyo)

Now this is due out soon and I don't expect many changes in the hardware lineup. But I have my eye out for this one. If there’s anything new to report you'll see it here.

The Atrix 4G has a pair of accessories that are fairly unique at this point. There are tons of aftermarket dock's and so forth for iPhone, but nothing even closely resembling the Motorola Laptop Dock. The Laptop Dock is basically a self powered keyboard, touch-pad and display that you may dock the Atrix 4G and use it as a net-book ostensibly to, you know Tweet, Poke, Status Update or check your e-mail and those sorts of things. Come to think of it things that you would probably rather just do with your phone in the first place.

Well it may be that the laptop dock is better in concept then in practice it's still a good thing because the Atrix 4G 's powerful build was undertaken in order to have the power it needed to run this little bit of hardware with any sort of results.

Currently we are under the impression that the Motorola Atrix 4G will hit the shelves at Amazon and Perhaps Costco as well as At&T stores on February 27th. Last week a leaked Amazon Page had the price at $150.00 which after seeing some of the other new roll-outs may be in line with most of the other offerings later this year.
