Thunderbolt 4G, Voice/Data 3G, Verizon’s little secret?

Dylan Bailey over at Android Community reports that the new HTC Thunderbolt 4G can duplex Voice/Data simultaneously on both the Verizon LTE and the older 3G networks. Which is actually quite a major selling point. AT&T has been touting their exclusive ability to do just that for several months. It's one of those game changers.

So why are we just now hearing about this? Looks like the reception may be less the stellar. Verizon may be planning an advertising campaign for later in the year based on the newly engineered ability. Or it could be that the reports are wrong and the only duplexing was done on the LTE network.

The HTC Thunderbolt 4G is still on track for a late February release. Best Buy is stocking accessories on the 19th Price is reportedly going to hover around $250. With so many New phones coming out in the next few months, I wonder if any of the companies are really going to attain any kind of market dominance.
