LG releases G-slate for T-Mobile.

With all of the news coming out of CES this week it's no surprise that LG has a little candy of their own to spread around.

Meet the G-Slate, T-Mobile's newest android tablet from LG.

The G-Slate it seems was designed to beat the competition from the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the Eee Slate by Asus, and Motorola's new Xoom, among others.

Officials from T-Mobile, well known as providers of the largest 4G network in the US, stress the importance of the android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system which was especially designed with larger screened mobile devices in mind.

While the good folks at LG have been pretty quiet about the particulars of the device we do know that the G-slate boasts a 10 inch capacitive touch screen display and boasts a 32 gig storage memory. The G-Slate should be available early second quarter, sometime after the release of the T-Mobile's other serious tablet the Dell Streak 7.
